Ok , I seriously want to become a successful video game designer. I’am a black and white blended female and ever since I played my first video game , I SERIOUSLY wanted to become a video game designer. I actually want to create the graphics and controlls of the game as well as the storyline and events in the game. Heres another way to put it.
In my video game career , I wish to :
Make the storylines
Create the graphics and the special effects
Come up with the events of the game.
Create the script of the game.

I wish to take Six Full years of college in order to do these things. I seriously want to become a rich and very successful video game designer. But I really need some help. While i’am in college , I need a job that will give me regular amounts of money so I can pay bills and take care of my self when I move out (when I’am older). I do not care which job I will have as long as it is not stressful. Is there any Simple web site that I can take a look at some jobs while I’am at college? And if you know a job that can help me , do tell.

php/sql freelance – tiny question about pricing?
Hey all,
I’m a 15 year old web developer/designer who can code html, css, php & sql however one of my friends is asking me to make them a massive script (has given me a long deadline!(summer holidays))
However I know how I am going to attack this puzzle awaiting to be created and solved, however I am not sure how much to charge.
I’m generally doing coding for experience, fun and generally help people for free (small scripts), however as this is a very huge project ( secure upload files, search, add news, edit, delete, report, manage, listen, ranking, top 10, latest etc…) i’m not sure how much to charge.
I know some projects simillar to mine (like social networking sites) can get quite a few hundred, however as it’s a friend and i’m working with teens (such as myself) i’m thinking about £30. any suggestions?

Newbie JavaScript Array question. Please help!?
I’m new to JavaScripting and I am currently just trying out new things and seeing how they function to get a feel for the script syntax and functionality. With the script listed below, I was trying to create an array that would match up a person’s name with their job title, and when the user entered the user’s name into the text box and hit the submit button, it would pop up an alert with stated person’s job title.
Sounds simple enough, right? Well, I have been stumped for the past five hours, and no tutorial sites have given any clue as to how I can remedy this. I am trying to keep the literal notation (just to see how it works), but would not mind a dense notation if it’ll help me figure it out!
What it’s doing currently is looping through the array and displaying ALL of the names and then ALL of the job titles, and then changes the text box’s value to “John” or Engineer”, and I have tried numerous variations of the loop and if…else loops (including a “while” loop) and NO closer to a conclusion.
Thank you in advance! 
Hopefully one day soon I will be laughing at questions like this.

UPDATE:
I have since updated the JavaScript portion of the header to look as it does below (splitting the array into two separate arrays), but the only name that brings back the correct job is John (Engineer). The rest return the alert as "undefined".

question for web developers?
there are two certain styles of website that I want to build. examples of them are at:
1: http://www.envato.com/
2: http://wiki.envato.com/
the specific effects I am looking at are the static background, forms, and buttons, in the first example, and in the second example the linkbar on the side where each option sort of highlights when you mouse over it, and the tiny square links at the top.
What scripting language/web format/etc was used to build these pages, or at least the functions I named? Or if that cannot be found, what is a method that could be used to make them?
I’m specifically wanting to build a site with a static background like the first link, but with a sidebar like on the wiki link, and I am trying to figure out what exactly I need to do to make that, and if those two functions are very difficult for a newbie to implement.

i just put my first adsense box on my website and already made today. I know I read that you can have more than one area on each page have the ads. rightnow, it is in just 1 spot of my page. my question is, if i want to put a 2nd ad, do i have to go to my account and generate a new script or do i just copy and paste the one i have already? I wasnt sure if google automatically knows not to doble the same ads. i dont quite understand.
i generated a new ad. now i have 2 ads on the page but they are both the same. and i noticed it generates the same code. is it becuase they are the same shapes?

Question about adsense…(google)?
I signed up for and was approved by Adsense for my site.
I also opted in for the “alternative ad” (when no other ads are available)
When I go to my site, Only the substitute ad is shown. However, I do have content on my site. I am kind of confused? Is there really “no content available” (seems impossible…) or did I do something wrong in the scripting?
In addition, I am using wordpress. My site is a blog, and my adsense script is implemented in the right tab widget along with my other ads.

So I seem to have fixed that problem… new problem..
Adsense unrelated to my content of site
I use wordpress
For example, I have ads on the right hand side (widget).. same panel as my Adsense ad
Making my adsense ad unrelated to the BLOG CONTENT — but more affiliated with the other ads around it.
How do I make my adsense ad more on topic with what I have in my blog content
