Does anybody know the java script code and the math equation to solve this problem?
I’m taking a personal class and our group has been given this problem:
The discussion assignment assumes that we have an earth that is a perfectly round and smooth sphere with a rope going around it at the equator such that it fits very snugly. Your group is to define a JavaScript web site that will prompt for a height of a wall in terms of feet. The program then should compute how many feet must be added to the rope so that if a wall of that height were constructed around the equator, the rope will then snugly fit on top of the wall.
Our group has pondered for days and we cannot even come up with the math equation let alone writing a java script code for it.
Please help with the math and Java!

Geocities web site script problem?
One of the pages on my Geocities web site uses JavaScript to open images in a pop-up window. It tests fine locally and when editing with File Manager. But when viewed online, the Yahoo server inserts its own script in the document head, which interferes with my script, therefore my pop-up images do not work. I never had this problem until recently. How can I correct this?

Problem with a an auto-refreshing Java script on one web site. Help?
CBS Sportsline uses a live-scoring java program to update scores for fantasy football games. I have used the site many times in the past with no problems. However, I recently got a new computer, and suddenly the page locks up my entire system. I have downloaded each update I can find (Windows XP, World wide web Explorer, Java console), and minimized security measures (cookies, java script and ActiveX controls) but nothing seems to work. The page will not load correctly, and it eats up CPU time in large spurts, like it’s having a seizure. Any suggestions?

adsense html code problem?
I am trying to add an adsense ad unit to to my blog. I have generated the html code I want (editing colours design etc) when i paste the code into my html template and preview the ad I can see the ad fine, however when I save the changes to the script and veiw my blog again there is no ad and when I go back into the html script the code has disappeared.
What am I doing wrong.
