My Java is updated but my XP’s world wide web still will not display videos and many websites. Ideas?
My computer/internet has been acting strangely for the past couple of weeks. I can go to Youtube, but the video boxes are blank and they will not play. A lot of websites (facebook, my yahoo email, etc) will have the top line of script, but the rest of the page will be blank. Some sites will let me enter my username and password, but after I press enter, it takes me back to that exact page with the boxes empty again. I just updated my Java (although under world wide web options, it was already enabled) but it still is not working. I am only able to type this via a different computer. Any ideas?

Internet explorer updates- add on problems?
After I updated World wide web Explorer a lot of my add ons have stopped working. Each time I open a new page I am told IE is currently running with add ons disabled(followed the link but cannot find any) and I am having trouble getting onto sites that require Flash player, shockwave, windows media player or Java Script. On top of this I have lost all the toolbars I used to have.
I had all of those add ons and could use any site I wanted to before I updated, the same sites still work when I go to them through a different browser (Safari).
Could anyone tell me what must have went wrong and speak me through how to fix it?
