I keep getting “Error logging into server” when playing Yahoo games.?
For the last couple of days I have been trying to play yahoo games. I mainly play pool and dominoes. There are a few times that I have gotten as far as starting a game, but mostly what happens it I get into the room and then moments later I get booted and it states “Attempting to log into server” then “Error logging into server” I have been thinking there is something wrong with my computer, but I am able to play other game sites with no problem. Is there something wrong with Yahoo games or the Java script that I am using.

♦If you have a Pop-up blocker click on it, click on always grant and type (http://games.yahoo.com ). You’ll have to remove any pop up blockers you’ve set!

♦You could probably use Amish Donkey.com which is a backdoor for Yahoo games

I am having the same problem and have tried everything possible with no luck. I wonder how the people who are in the rooms got there. The only thing i can think of is that there were there before the Yahoo problem started today. Guess we just have to wait it out. I am glad to see others are having the same problem before I did something stupid with the programs on my computer!!!

That sounds like you do not have php installed on your server or aren’t putting the right file extensions on the file. Make sure and end the name of the file that has the includes with ‘.php’

If not either of those, then you might not be using the begin and end tags correctly. Make sure they are like this:

I am trying to get this php script loaded. It is one for buying words.
For some reason when I add a word in the /admin then it states “Can’t connect to MySQL server on ‘mysqldb’ (111)”

I have no clue what that means. Another weird thing is that I changed the foote and header, and it is changed in the main site, but when I go to /admin then it all looks the way it did when I uploaded it. Is something messed up?

Obviously my username and password are not user/password,but is there anything wrong with this? The bottom of the thing is:
“mysql_select_db(buymeaword)”
and my error is :
“Can’t connect to MySQL server on ‘mysqldb’ (111)”
they both have “mysqldb” in them. Not sure if this helps or not. If you do not know then do not worry about it. I am just trying to figure out how to add words.

From my limited knowledge, of PHP, Try:

mysql_connect($hostname, $dbuser, $dbpass)
mysql_select_db($dbname)

Could well be wrong, have not used either PHP nor MYSQL for a couple of years.
