Hi, I need to install my p4350 lexmark all in one, but when i download it i keep getting a windows script host message – and that the system can’t find the file specified.
By the way it is; Code 80070002

how can i download the program as i desperately need my printer to work?
Many thanks.

Answer by OttO Underground
why did you get a lexmark?

they make most of their money out of the over priced ink cartridges they sell, thats why you get them free with so many computers.

they give away the printers (practically) so people purchase their inks.

get a new printer, you will save £10, per ink cartridge.

When I go to dl something I really want, i always seem to run into a problem. It doesnt happen to everything just a few. I dl, then go to the folder where it went, and try to open it and it gives me…”Unable to read the dictionary of the application or extension because it is not scriptable.” Then I click OK and it gives me this…”The document “???” could not be opened. Script Editor can’t open files in the “Script Editor Document” format. How can I fix this? The file I dl always states its for Mac but maybe it really isnt? Its usually a game or something and after it finishes dl, it just a picture of a document and not a file like its suposed to be. Thanks for your help in advance.

I am not sure what the # is in this java script code. It is colored blue in dreamweaver and I was wondering if I need to change it – like it affects the title or something somewhere in the page.

I also have a funky problem in my webpage title – the # symbol appears at the end of whatever I type and I dont know how to get rid of it. This is the index page of a website and the page includes a couple of cf includes that have navigation browsers in them. That is it- no content yet.

How do I fix that problem?

The first step in the preparation process is to have your initial website properly prepared. Please pay attention to the word “properly.” Google has very definite guidelines for websites so reviewing their Terms of Service is crucial to being accepted into the program. If your website does not fall within their established guidelines it will be unceremoniously rejected.

Look specifically for Google’s Program Policies. One item of importance is that Google only accepts finished websites. You are not granted to have any pages “Under Construction.” Furthermore, check all your links and graphics making sure that all hyperlinks and source links are functioning as they should. Broken links can be a cause for rejecting your website.

Google also has a set of Quality Guidelines to which you must adhere in order to gain an approval. The Quality Guidelines and Program Policies lay forth exactly what is expected regarding your website’s content and other qualifications for membership into Google AdSense. All of these are easily accessible on the Google AdSense website. Allowed not many people enjoy reading anyone’s terms of service and policies, but in the case of AdSense it is a necessity.

Second, you need to decide whether you are signing up as an individual or business. The revenue you generate is taxable and you are advised to seek the counsel of an accountant in making this decision. Google asks whether you are registering as an individual or business.

Third, you need to open a checking account. In the application process Google will ask for information on where they can send your commission checks. It is advised that once you have your AdSense account setup that you switch to automatic deposit.

Once you have taken these three steps you are ready to make your request for a Google AdSense account. One mistake that so many aspiring AdSense publishers make is that they do not read the Terms of Service. Google is very specific about the stipulations and they are very diligent in seeing that they are obeyed. If you are sloppy in the application process and after, you are experience with AdSense will be very unfulfilling. Do not miss out on an opportunity to generate income because of laziness or a nonchalant attitude.

Your approval is based only on the initial website submission. After you are approved you can submit as many websites as you like on a variety of topics. This does not mean that you can publish websites contrary to Google’s Terms and Service, but you are given a tiny more latitude in publishing your websites.

Maybe you do not have a website but you wish to have an account. If this is the case Google grants you to sign up for a free blog at the company owned website http://blogger.com, allowing you to use this for your website submission. For an simple approval it is suggested that you take this route. Once you are approved then you can start submitting your other websites.

Don’t spend a lot of money on web hosting services, as there are some great deals on the Internet. A suggested hosting company is Equus Hosting. As part of a good AdSense strategy you want to have a great number of websites. Equus Hosting has a plan that grants you to have unlimited sites for one very low monthly price. In addition, they offer over 50 additional products and have 24/7 customer support.

The first thing you need to do is navigate to http://www.google.com/adsense and either apply or log in with your existing account and password. What follows is a page presenting the Google AdSense Terms and Conditions which you must concur to in order to proceed.

You are presented with a report page which you can use to get a detailed status on how your AdSense advertising is doing. This grants you to improve your site’s contents and layout to maximize your AdSense earnings.

On the top of your page you also have link to the setup section where you can generate the code that will need to be pasted on your website in order to have AdSense banners on your page.

You can use AdSense for text (the stated ads), using a search box or with referrals. Your choice among these options depends on how users will navigate your site.

Finally, there is a “My Account” tab which grants you to set up details concerning your account, payment and tax information.

To add a text ad on your site, go back to the “AdSense Setup” tab and click the “AdSense for content” link. Make sure you have cookies enabled in your browser.

You can make a choice between ad units and link units. The former contain text and or images concerning a certain site for each unit, most with a detailed description, the latter only contain links to certain types.

Of course, it’s a bit hard to know which type you should use so you should probably experiment with both for a while before you decide.

You can also view an example of how the unit will look to the right of your page. However, you might only use three ad units and one link unit on any given page. This is believed to be a step which Google takes for quality control.

The next step is to select your add format and colors. You can basically select any color palette you select with Google offering some of its own if you do not have the time or skill to create one. You can constantly view how the palette will look through the aid of an example. The one that works ideal in terms of appearance and revenues will vary with the look, feel and content of a website.

However, your ad formats are limited to a choice of eleven formats. There is an “Ad Formats” link which takes you to a page that lets you see all even of these in action so you can decide ideal which one suits your site. Sometimes the most intrusive, doesn’t work ideal however again, this can vary from website to website.

After you finish with customization, you can click “Continue” from the bottom of the page.

You are now presented with a section entitled “AdSense for Content”. You can click anywhere in the text and that shows the JavaScript required to get AdSense running. This will automatically select the text in the box.

You can then copy it and paste it into your pages directly. If you use dynamic pages, you should paste this code within your template so as to ensure that it gets displayed on any page of your website. Some advertisers select not to display Adsense on each page, and this is understandable. An example of this is a company that has adsense, might also have terms and condition which would inevitably provide legal resources which would probably be deemed inappropriate.

What is then left for you to do is get content on your page (provided you did not have any already). Google AdSense crawlers will soon visit your site, making sure that the ads displayed are relevant to your site’s content.

And you are all done. For a easy page this should indeed be a matter of a few minutes, which is precisely what makes AdSense the choice for so many. Even though it is quick, its mass appeal also makes it the best. Through being the most popular, advertisers and publishers alike see Adsense and Adwords as their natural first choice.
