WHAT IS THE CROSS-SITE SCRIPTING ON SPORTS WEB PAGES?

Question by JayT:
What is the cross-site scripting on sports web pages?
Simply viewing a Yahoo news page about a sports story on IE, the message comes up about cross-site scripting and such. Is this a normal error, or am I missing something that needs to be downloaded? Thanks.

Thats a cross scripting error…nothing to worry about…when the sports stories are on Yahoo Home page and e-mail page…the web page prevents cross scripting……I get that a lot and so do a lot of other people…just x it out…..

Hi,
For your password problem just restart your computer or unplug it for 5 minutes if restarting doesn’t help you.
To resolve your scripting error just change the Color setting to 256 Color or a higher setting. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double- click Display.
2. Click the Settings tab.
3. In the Color Palette box, click 256 Color or a higher setting.
4. Click OK.
5. Restart your computer when you are prompted.
I hope this helps you.
