If you are referring to a MS Word document, you can create a macro and apply it to the Normal template. Then whenever you open a new document and press the keyboard shortcut, the time will be inserted at the cursor.
To do this for Word 2003:
Open Word
Go to Tools > Macros > Record New Macro
When the Record Macro window opens, Name the macro. No spaces are allowed. Use ‘InsertTime’ or ‘TimeStamp’ , etc.
Leave the default ‘Store Macro In’ setting at ‘All Documents (Normal.dot)’
Click on ‘Keyboard’
When the ‘Customize Macro’ window opens, the cursor will be at ‘Press new shortcut Key:’
Simultaneously press the CTRL key + a letter you wish to use for the keyboard shortcut, i.e. ‘t’ for time, etc.
Click ‘Assign’.
Click ‘Close’.
Go to Insert > Date and Time and select the appropriate Date or Time format you wish to use and click ‘OK’. Make sure the ‘Update Automatically’ tick box is NOT checked.
Click the ‘Stop Recording’ button on the macro toolbar or go to Tools > Macro > Stop Recording.
Close the open word document without saving changes. This will not affect the Normal.dot template you are adding the macro to.
Now, whenever you open MS Word and want to insert the timestamp at the cursor, press CTRL + your shortcut key.
The process would probably be very similar in other versions of Word.
Note: If you are wanting a script to work universally across different programs, such as NotePad, Word, Acrobat, etc then I am not able to offer a solution… sorry.

Aside from WordPress, you can try a free blog service like Blogger.com
If you’re willing to shell out some cash, you can try typepad.com

Hi:
I have tried lot of blogging softwares, but what I learned is WordPress is the easiest software to install and run with lot of customizations and ‘n’ number of good templates. Take a freelancer help to install it for you if your are finding it difficult. Find a freelancer at very little price on GetAFreelancer.com, else I can do it for you.
Choose blogger.com, no installation nothing, one click publishing.
There are also revenue sharing blogging sites where you can blog and instantly noticed by the visitors. You can write anything to everything. After making nearly 10-15 posts, apply for adsense referring your blog as your site, get approved, and enter that code into your account on these sites. They show adds from your ID whenever some one visits your blog. This is the legit way to earn money from blogging.

Be informed that, you won’t earn money instantly, but in the long-time you can earn money even if you stop writing. It depends on how much articles you write per day and how much interesting, useful, and thought provoking they are. For more details, check out the overview on their programs.
